Pacer trucking capabilities focus on high performance customer requirements where other common carriers fail to satisfy. Our transportation management and related technology capabilities enable us to manage complex shipment requirements (plan-execute-track-measure-report) across the multimodal transportation service spectrum.

The Pacer portfolio also offers easy access to a broad array of logistics services in addition to the above, including domestic and international intermodal, ocean carrier services, ocean and air freight forwarding, customs brokerage, multi-modal freight management, warehousing and logistics network design/consulting.

And through our multimodal freight management programs, Pacer offers more flexible and cost effective door-to-door solutions for customers that ship truckload and consolidated loads in North America. Leveraging our strategic relationships with rail carriers, truckload carriers and our own capacity, we select the shipment mode that works best based on total cost, transit times and delivery requirements.

Pacer uses industry-leading transportation management systems, heavily modified to meet our third party services requirements. With this technology Pacer manages comprehensive transportation operations, from creating shipment plans to building continuous moves to sending event-driven and exception-based alerts. In addition, we utilize add-on applications for transportation optimization, load matching, network modeling and collaborative bid process management.
