group handles predominantly intermodal shipments of
trailer-on-flatcar, container-on-flatcar and double
stack service. The department is responsible for all
dispatch, tracing, and customer support for intermodal
shipments. The rail department also manages and coordinates
rail-boxcar shipments and fleet movements for our
general customer base.

Highway Services Division extends our service portfolio
via the highway direct mode, offering both regional
and transcontinental service for North America in
a wide variety of equipment types. In addition to
the traditional highway direct services, Highway Services

Pacer Distribution Services enables
international consumer and industrial goods shippers
to reduce their total end to-end logistics cost by employing
more effective consolidation, deconsolidation and “storage-less”
inventory strategies. We provide the full array of conventional
warehouse storage and handling services in 8 US major
distribution markets, including three West Coast markets
that are major conduits for Asian product imports. We
also feature supply chain enhancing capabilities in
contract logistics, product customization (subassembly,
packaging, kitting) and integrated transportation (merge-in-transit,
cross-docking, JIT DC-bypass and local trucking).

Ocean World Lines (OWL)
and RF International (RFI) save time, money and hassle
for importer and exporter customers [cargo owners] by
managing their international shipping and freight forwarding
activities, and connecting them to the full range of
logistics services necessary to run a global business.
OWL is a fully bonded neutral NVOCC (non-vessel operating
common carrier) providing container shipment service
to and from the USA in all global trade lanes. We are
among the world's leading FCL (full container load)
NVOs, annually handling 70,000 TEUs (20-ft container
equivalent), but also offer LCL (less-than container
load) and air freight services.
RFI is C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism)
certified and provides customs brokerage and freight
forwarding services, managing complex protocol, information
exchange and documentation requirements of international
shipping across transport modes on customers' behalf.

The Logistics group
performs a variety of logistics processes under the
name of Global Logistics Services (GLS) in conjunction
with the Highway/Logistics group. Through its centralized
dispatch program, GLS has the ability to receive and
dispatch orders utilizing a variety of communication
modes. This process ensures a timely and efficient
operation. As with Pacer Global Logistics' other operating
groups, GLS performs shipment tracing and monitoring
from "cradle to grave" along with the necessary customer
support.
